Colossians 3

To simply put it, a Christian needs to have his or her mind and heart looking towards those things which are holy and just. The Bible says in Philippians to think on certain things. “Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.”
The character of the new man, is one that is in lines with the Lords. His heart needs to be close to the heart of God and his mind needs to be in praise of the Father. It's interesting to look at the contrast between the man of the world and the man of God.
To talk about the Christian home is a matter that many don't take to heart. The last part of this chapter is filled with what we need to be and what we should desire to become. I love the final part where it says, "But he who does wrong will be repaid for what he has done, and there is no partiality." I will answer for what I've done. It's a good reminder to see what we do before we do them.
For an application I will asked the Lord what I need to do this week and how to become that thing.
